David Earl Williams III was born on January 8th, 1984, in Evanston, Illinois. He grew up, however, on Chicago’s North Side neighborhood in Uptown, where he lived with his mother and two sisters, Stacey and Shantel, and one brother, Alex. He graduated from Nicholas Senn High School in the Edgewater community of Chicago in 2002.
Immediately after graduating, David joined the U.S. Navy. He served as a Deck Seaman for the first two years, then as a Logistics Specialist managing over $2 Billion dollars worth of aviation equipment and over 25 personnel for his remaining time. He was stationed in Yokosuka, Kanagawa, Japan from 2002-2006 on board the U.S.S. Cowpens (CG-63). With his time in the U.S Armed Forces, he has traveled all over Asia and the Australian continent along with the Middle East. David served with valor until his Honorable Discharge in mid-2006.
Later in 2006, he began his studies abroad, eventually graduating from Lethbridge College located in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada, after taking courses in General Studies and Criminal Justices. David wrote a 270-page fictional fantasy novel, Valor Tale, which was published in April 2007 through Xlibris publishing and has sold over 450 copies.
In 2010, David returned back to the United States taking residences in his birthplace of Evanston, Illinois, where he began his participation in the Chicago chapter of WeAreChange, a nationwide political activism group. During his time with WeAreChange, he protested Corporatism, unconstitutional warfare, and high taxation.
In 2011, he became involved in the Blue Republican Movement, a grassroots effort spearheaded by Robin Koerner, the founder and publisher of watchingamerica.com and a journalist with the Huffington Post.
Along with a legion of Ron Paul supporters during the 2012 Republican Presidential primaries, David worked to encourage the Independent and Democratic voting base in states that had closed primaries or caucuses, in which only registered Republicans could vote, to register as Republicans and vote for Ron Paul while working on various local campaigns. Throughout this time, David supported himself as a male model for Urban Offering, an online clothing outlet, and Pink Avenue Models.
Many who are close to David see him as a “Renaissance man.”, as he is currently enrolled online at DePaul University pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Political Science, he has also in the past volunteered in disaster relief efforts with Convoy for Hope & Assistant in crisis intervention initiatives with National Alliance of Mental Illness (NAMI), and supports himself as a promoter with 24/Seven.
